How it began…
We met Simona in the fall of 2015 on our travels to Tuscany, where my fiancé (at the time) and I, wanted to get married. Simona spent an entire afternoon and into the evening touring us around the region to show us the many beautiful possibilities. From where we could stay, exchange our vows and take photographs. We decided to spend 3 nights and get married at the stunning Relais La Suvera in May 2016, just the two of us.
The logistics…
We are Canadians and Simona provided us with the guidelines and assistance to obtain the necessary documentation from the Consulate. She assisted in flower arrangement and bouquet selection, a tailored dinner menu, a special cake, a fantastic photographer, a clean shave for the groom, nail appointment, hair and make-up, officiant and vehicle rental and driver to the Abbey of San Galgano for photos.
Our day…
It was perfect. We enjoyed a nice breakfast at the hotel and then Simona took us to Casole D’Elsa town hall to legally exchange our vows. We returned to Relais La Suvera where our private ceremony was held. The grounds are spectacular and immaculately maintained. While our decor was simplistic, it was elegant. The photographer we chose was Andrea Pitti. He was amazing. Andrea and his crew were professional, fun, relaxed and he captured some inlegal wedding celebrationcredible photographs.

We highly recommend Simona and her wedding planning services. Simona’s assistance took the stress of organization and execution of plans away from us so we could fully immerse ourselves in the joy of getting married.
We could not have selected anyone better for our special day. Her enthusiasm and positive demeanour made our experience with her such a pleasure.
